On my Feng Shui journey, I noticed the most searched for terms are Feng Shui sleep, Feng Shui Bedroom, and Feng Shui Direction. In a previous post, I explained the essential elements of the Feng Shui bedroom ( http://altheafengshui.blogspot.rs/2018/01/feng-shui-secrets-to-good-nights-sleep.html ). This post expands even further, focusing on reminding you about on the importance of your sleeping direction and how it can affect your rest and sleep levels. Specific directions can slow you down, promoting sleep – but decreasing one’s sex drive in the same time. Take your compass app and measure the direction of the headboard. This is vital not only getting the direction – but it is also the direction we receive Qi while we slumber. It is of fundamental Importance that one who practices Feng Shui can differentiate between Location and Direction. For beginners, this difference can be confusing – even Feng Shui consultants can fall into the trap! For example, a central entrance may be placed in the North (Location) of the property, but it may still face Northwest (Direction). Death and Emptiness lines are critical in Classical Feng Shui.  Not every Feng Sui consultant pays attention to these Compass Degrees – but they are crucial in affecting not just your Feng Shui, but also our mood, sleeping patterns, and accomplishments. I f someone is suffering from depression or a lack of enthusiasm in their life, one needs to check the door facing and the sleeping direction of Death and Emptiness lines. Alternatively, Death and Void lines are also known as Void lines. In Feng Shui, we refer to them as lines, but each Void spreads its influence up to three degrees on both sides of the border. A Luo Pan compass can determine precisely when the facing falls into a Void line. However, when using a standard compass, Void line tables should be drawn up to check the positioning. Northwest: # 1 In Flying Star Feng Shui, NW is an area that holds the most masculine energy.  Main enhances facing this direction reflect the  occupant favoring the strong male energies. Those occupying a property with a Northwest facing will have an active year. The Earth Dog of 2018 will also have a positive effect on their abilities, enabling them to think of ideas and find solutions quicker. Individuals will be more entrepreneurial with the dedication to strive, thrive and advance in their goals. As for sleep, NW is a great place to put a bed in 2018.  NW3 is the most favorable of all three of the NW locations, and all effort should be made to spend time in this space. West #2 When it comes to Feng Shui, and health one should be very mindful of the influence of the Flying Star 2 Black – especially if you have a weak constitution. Main entrances in the West will bring the property owner a mixed bag of luck for 2018. It will be an improvement comparing to 2017, when Tai  Sui had  resided in West 2. Star 2 will help bring more peace and quiet along with more support from others. Relationship-wise, meeting faces from the past and dealing with them will be expected. As #2 a Sickness Star, so anyone with existing health issues or is pregnant, elderly or sensitive should be advised sleeping in an alternative location than the West. As an extra precaution, spend limited amounts of time in this area, especially in the summer months when the influences increases. Those in properties with an SW main entrance an expect a productive year. 2018 will bring more interaction across the board which will especially improve their luck on the romance front. Spending more time, whether in leisure, work, or sleeping will also enhance existing relationships. For single women who seek a bit of romance in their life, turn the bed into the SW. In the Dog Year, SW will feel exceptionally favorable. South: # 4 South is the seat of the Fire Element in Flying Star Feng Sui, generally favorable for those who need energy and for those who want to become more entrepreneurial. After the hardship of 2017, occupants who have main entrances in the South of the property can look forward to a better year. Doors that have been closed will swing wide open, so the need for advice, support and practical help is easier to find. In 2018, occupants should focus on overcoming any issues they might have as finding solutions or reaching settlements will be easier to make. This is also an excellent year to socialize, mingle, and create contacts – or actively searching for sponsorship or mentorship.
