Ba Zhai is the method usually carried out during Feng Shui assessments on residential properties. It is an efficient way to design Feng Shui in your home or office that will have a deeper impact in your life. In my Feng Shui Consultations, I have witnessed first-hand amazing results after applying Ba Zhai Feng Shui to a client’s property.

It is possible to find the best locations for sleep, work, and leisure using Ba Zhai. 

The term ‘Ba Zhai’ means ‘Eight Houses’ and refers to the categorization of all properties into eight different types. Accordingly, there are eight houses: Zhen (East), Xun (Southeast), Li (South), Kan (North), Kun (Southwest), Gen (Northeast), Qian (Northwest) and Dui (West).

Each of the Eight Houses has four favorable and unfavorable locations and the main objective is to spend time in the favorable places as well as placing important features such as doors, beds, desks, and chairs into beneficial locations.

Ba Zhai Feng Shui is used to find a very significant set of personal directions. When an individual’s health is compromised, finding a direction for the bed and stove is essential. For this, you have to know your property’s Facing and Sitting directions as they will help you determine favorable results.
